The Karlstad Eagles are proudly hosting the national between Sweden and Norway in Skutberget on Saturday, October 3. The kick-off on what could be Scandinavia's biggest oval is set for 14:00.
For the Swedish national team the match is the start for the preparations for the International Cup 2011 in Australia. Consequently, the squad is chosen after IC eligibility rules. A strong squad of 22 are to take on the Norwegian Polarbears. For the Bears, it is the first ever International and due to the young age of footy in Norway, the squad consists of 50% Australians. Expected rain and strong breeze should work in faovour for the Elks, as the Norwegians will have more difficulties to play on their superior skills. A thight match is expected. Karlstad is ready.
